New London — The town continues to just accept purposes for New London’s second poet laureate.
The deadline was prolonged from Feb 5 to Feb. 28 and whereas candidates have to be residents of New London, there isn’t any longer a three-year minimal residency requirement.

Mayor Michael Passero will appoint the brand new poet laureate to a three-year time period on April 5. This place will characteristic an annual $300 stipend.
